The road on the way up is in good condition. There is one small minor washout but nearly any vehicle can make it. If you want your life to be happier then you should do this hike. Some of the best views of any hike in the area. Don't talk yourself out of it. Do it. Wild flowers in bloom. Peaks abound. Some snow patches but very manageable. Your life will be better moments after doing this hike. It will fill your soul.
