Poo Poo Point - Chirico Trail — Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022

Issaquah Alps > Tiger Mountain

A nice relatively cool weather today (03aug2022) for my morning ramble Chirico Trail to Poo Poo Point..

~09:00 cool 60s_F, i arrived at the parking area and it was almost full. And ~3 hours later at ~12:00 low 70s_F, when i got back, it was still almost full, a few vehicles were streaming out, while others were streaming in.

As mentioned by others, and (though) Alltrails rate the route as "challenging" and "hard", its (happy) astonishing to see people (and their dogs); ranging in ages, from young children, a person "piggy-back" an infant, adults, Para-Gliders (lugging on their back ~60 lbs of their gliding gear) "hike-and-glide" .. enjoying this trail/route .. and the views up on Poo Poo Point. i was lucky .. got to watch 5x para-gliders 👍 i guess that i encountered a total of ~100+ people, and ~10 dogs during my ~3 hours on the trail - everyone was courteous, nice and friendly 👍

The trail is dry and in good condition though sandy, loose stones, and rocks, and occasionally rooty - so do be careful. Almost full-shade. Also, the Out-house up at the "summit" was opened, and clean .. thank you to the Maintenance people.

Happy Trails Everyone! 😇
