Snow Lake — Friday, Sep. 16, 2022

I arrived at the trailhead at 9:30am to about a dozen cars. It sure felt like fall with a light drizzle, chilly temp and lots of fog.

I really enjoyed this hike. There were still some wildflowers out while also having the leaves start to turn. A beautiful combination!

When I arrived at the lake, it was still foggy but the lake was visible and gorgeous.

The trail was well marked. The team that “remodeled” this trail did an outstanding job!! They put down new dirt, rocks and stairs throughout the entire trail. It’s remarkable how much work they accomplished during the short time this trail was closed. Thank you for all your work on the trail! I added two photos that include visuals of some of the work the crew completed on the trail.

This is an enjoyable, pretty and worthwhile hike. It’s a bonus that it’s such a short distance from Seattle.
