LARCHES!! We arrived Friday morning around 1000 after getting stuck behind a pain striping truck for an hour and a half. The trailhead was full but parking aplenty on the side of the highway!
It was a beautiful hike but very hot and very dusty! We wished we would have worn shorts!
The larches were almost prime and absolutely breathtaking. The rest of the fall foliage covered every color in the rainbow. This hike was a treat.
