Arrived at the trailhead at 8:45am this morning and there were a handful of cars, lots of folks arriving. We saw a good number of other hikers as we approached the fork going to Dirty Harry's Balcony, but only two people the rest of the way to the peak. The creek crossing was a little tricky, we managed with waterproof boots and poles. As we neared the peak hail began and continued the rest of the way, there was zero visibility at the top but still a good workout. It was nice to see snow starting to stick to the trees up top. The hail continued the whole way down and covered most of the trail.
