After leaving northern Edmonds where we had two inches of snow I expected to be walking in a snowy forest, but the point was bare except for a heavy frost in the open areas. I went down to Fullerton Pond first. It has a thin a cover of ice. I then took the trails down to the beach and walked north to see if I could make it all the way but I was stopped at the narrowest point where the sandstone cliff where the water was over the base. I turned around went up Carolyne's Trail (now called the Link Trail?) along the bluff and down the Beach Trail. After that it was up the hill and back to the parking lot.
It was a pretty slow news-day at the point. Not much going on. I did note that since the last time I was here there has been a lot of brush removal. Also the open field above the beach seem to be magnet for robins. I estimate I saw about a hundred today.

I once saw a flock feasting on some fermented fruit, and they were all clearly drunk.
