Happy New Year 2023! Great way to start: day hike this local trail with friends from Stanwood. We had two 6-year-olds and our 8- month old Mini Bernedoodle puppy. Trail was fine all the way around to the split off from Bluff Trail, heading in towards the Pond. No body slipped or fell. Puppy hiked the whole way, including loads of beach play. He definí needed snacks and his water on the trail.

I think this needs a correction on the location - it’s on Camano Island not Whidbey Island according to your directions.

Yes, this hike is near Stanwood, which is on Camano. I don’t see anywhere in the trip report or trail description that referenced Whidbey?
