Got there at noon and the parking lot was a quarter full. It was plenty windy but early on the view was still pretty good with some south mountain ridges visible at the half way viewpoint (although no rainier) and downtown bellevue behind lake samammish think, visible from the top. Rain moved in quickly thereafter.
Like others said there are a lot of blowdowns. Before you get to the clearing most of the blow downs are trimmed. After the clearing there are some thicker trees and branches to get around. Be aware there are a lot of lean tos waiting to smash down. You can hear them creaking in the wind.
