Arrived at the trailhead a little before 9:30 on a Thursday morning and the first row was about full. The trip up was uneventful with only one muddy section lower on the mountain. About half a mile from the top the trail turns into compacted snow and ice. You will definitely want traction right now! The freeze/thaw cycle has made the trail really icy in spots. Approaching the summit the trail over to Tenerife looked really nice. Stay left and you'll be at the top in no time.
It was extremely windy on top but otherwise the trees and mountain itself provided enough cover. It looks like some trees had come down recently but nothing that was blocking the trail.
I saw a lot more people on the way down then I did coming up. Got back to the car around 1:15 and the second row had some cars in it this time. Nice day to be out in the woods.
