Had the whole mountain to ourselves on a sunny Friday! Only saw one other couple all day, but I assumed that’s not typical be.
Snow wasn’t deep, but snowshoes were helpful for traction and stability, especially up higher. This hike was harder than the stats seemed, be prepared for a workout! Tracks were easy to follow, but with new snow it might be hard to see the trail after it leaves the road walk. Follow the ridge line, and stay away from the cornices!
Was a gorgeous bluebird day! Would definitely come here on a clear day. Was chilly, but got lucky with very little wind. Make sure to only park in the pullout across from the fire station, there are parking signs.
