In our adventure of completing one hike a month for the whole year of 2022, towards our goal of becoming healthier day by day. In the month of March, we decided to go to a new hike close-ish to home. Little Si! We did a total of 3.7 miles roundtrip. We brought Banh Mi for lunch to eat up at the top. This hike for us two, we classified it as Moderate. When you first start the hike, its pretty much straight up for a good 20ish minutes then it levels out to a normal walk for a good while. Which was great to catch our breathe! On the way up we saw this rock wall, were there were a few Rock climbers on it. If you would like to see what the hike looked like with videos, check out on IG my post.
Parking: there are 2 parking lots. 1 is right at the entrance of the trail and the overfill parking is like 2 minutes away walk.
Restrooms: There is a 2 person stall pit toilet. It was pretty clean and not smelly. There was no hand sanitizer when we went.
Rocky is currently 12 year old Chihuahua Yorkie Mix and he was able to hike all the way up. He needed a rest on the way down so we put him in his K9 Sport Sack Air 2. He can put his little paws out and enjoy the views like the king he is.
Andrew is 35 years old & 240lbs and I am 33 years old & 210 lbs – I provide this information in hopes to encourage anyone, no matter your size. You can be outdoorsy as long as you get out there and just walk and be one with nature! #unlikelyhikers #fatandoutdoorsy
