After Oxbow Loop Trail, we headed to Garfield Ledges. Deep potholes start as soon as the pavement ends and the parking lot is riddled with them. They are manageable with care, but I was thankful for my high clearance vehicle. Facilities are in good condition, and we were the only ones in the parking lot just before 11am. Trail is in great condition and well graded, with a set of trail stairs just after the midway point. The ledge itself affords a wonderful view of the river valley and surrounding mountains, and we were fortunate to have the trail completely to ourselves this date. Happy Hiking!
