It’s a slog. Snow is persistent after a mile down the road.
It’s rotten and slushy and my micro spikes were pure decoration on my boots.
I left my snowshoes in my car but I honestly don’t know much much of a difference that would have made
It was beautiful and you could hear avalanches coming off big 4.
But the slipping, sliding, and two steps forward one step back hiking was kinda miserable.
