The trail was great. It was clear and smooth most of the way leading to a great payoff. I got started late in the day and had the place mostly to myself. It was 84° and sunny in teanaway as I was driving in, but only 55° at the trailhead and had clearly just finished raining. Prepare for weather that can change on a dime. I would guess it was cooler up top and very windy. I climbed a little further north up the ridgeline before I stopped to eat and enjoy the view for a while. I didn't see much wildlife aside from birds, chipmunks, and pikas. Overall it as a great hike. 1 hour up and about the same down. For a short hike, it really gets the legs working.
