Hiked up to Crystal Peak on a perfect day! We arrived at 10am, and the main parking lot was full but there were plenty of spots on the side of the road nearby. Even though there were many cars, we actually saw very few people on the trail, and we had the view at the top to ourselves for a bit! It took us 2 hours to climb up and 1.5 to get back down.
Conditions were ideal - much of the trail was shaded, and the sun wasn't too strong in the morning for the parts that were not. We had nice panoramic views at the top and even caught a glimpse of Mt. Hood in the distance!
