Cherry Creek Falls — Sunday, Jun. 18, 2023

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area
Cherry Creek Falls by Thompson23

Trail was in great condition! We got there early - about 8:15 am and there was space to park. It was our first time and we appreciated the cinder blocks marking the trailhead. Where there’s a fork in the trail (actually two options left and right) we kept going straight because of a wooden sign saying Falls pointing us that way. We saw two signs along the way.

Then we hit another spot and turned right which took us to the car. (There was a car in the beginning of the trail in the private property section).

There was some mud (this was mid June and I forgot to write a report back the ) but nothing terrible. And one creek to pass with the low water.

The trail is a great one especially for beginners wanting to have elevation experience. The falls are beautiful!! We drove from Tacoma and it was well worth it!

Stopped in Duvall for some Dinky donuts (fair style mini ones) and would come back for a hike and lunch! Btw the Chevron gas station has a nice bathroom- remember there isn’t one at the trailhead!
