Make sure you stop at the Gingko Petrified state Park Interpretive Museum before you go on your hike! The Museum has a ton of information to help navigate the area.
The interpretative trail is right off the main road with toilets available. Once parked you adventure onto the trail. Don’t forget to snap a photo of the map of petrified logs.
We started this hike later in the afternoon and it was a HOT ONE! Please make sure you bring enough water for everyone in your party.
The trail has a well maintained path which consists of rocks.
