Slide Mountain — Friday, Nov. 17, 2023

Slide Mountain (4,892 feet) is a high point north and east of Racehorse Creek on DNR land northwest of Mount Baker. It can be a little challenging to find much info about the area, but it's a worthy hike with potential as a good ski or snowshoe trek, depending on the snow level and conditions. For anyone interested, I've posted a description and map at the link provided. We hiked it today.
