TUE 21nov2023 early morning .. was nice and cool low_40s_F .. And i went to (nearby) Kent_WA for a "golden hour" walk .. a CW_Loop: Parking (off-Old Fishing Hole Park) > Green River Trail > Riverview Park > Interurban Trail > Meeker Stree > Parking {Distance ~5.5 mi, ~2 hrs).
The "trails" (Green River Trail, and Interurban Trail) were "pavement". relatively clean and maintained. Encountered ~6 people and 2 dogs on these "trails". Also, too were the the (Kent) city roads; traffic was (light - moderate). Everyone (including Drivers) were friendly and courteous.
Relatively peaceful and quiet "on the trails". And the views during the "golden hour" were stunningly beautiful 😄😄😄
Happy Trails Everyone 😄

Have you done other sections of the Green River Trail? In the spring I am thinking of doing the whole 20 miles from Cecil Moses Park to North Green River Park, but I have heard the signage is pretty poor and there is a lot of route finding to hook back up with the path in various parts.

Hi BlueGoat,
Co-incidentally, after my having done 4x short sections of the Green River Trail (between Southwest Grady Way -and- Foster Park [closeby South 259th St), total distance of ~8 miles (??), i was hoping/planning to do more of the Green River Trail. And that's why this 22nov2023 morning, i went to "recon" for the "if-any" Parking at/near the North Green River Park area {please read the "report" of a few minutes ago}.
Briefly, there's "encampments" at/near the Trail Access {to the Green River Trail [probably, for/to the "North Green River Park" that you mentioned]}.
And yes, the Routing for Green River Trail is "patchy" .. sometimes, i had to "stitch" and go on neighborhood walkways, roads, streets,.. 😄
Btw, the Parking at the intersection of Green River Train & King County Interurban Trail
( GPS Co-ordinates approx: 47.36973, -122.24050 ) is CLOSED
Anyway, those 4x sections of Green River Trail that i did were generally good and relatively clean, and maintained .. And my hazy recollection is that the "Green River Trail" is mostly paved.
Wish U all the Best to your "full" Green River Trail ramble 😄
