14dec2023 MON ~07:55 i was the 2nd to arrive at the Fred V Habenicht Rotary Park (off-169) parking. Morning rain had ended, high 40s_F .. and i went on a CCW-Loop: (P) > [a section of] Green to Cedar Rivers Trail > Maple Valley roads > [a section of] Cedar River Trail > Maple Valley roads > (P). Distance ~5.6 mi, Time ~2 hr. And when i got back to the Parking, i noticed there were 2 additional vehicles.
The Trails were clean and free of trash. And the Honey-Bucket beside the Fred V Habenicht Rotary Park parking was open and relatively clean .. many thanks to the Park and Maintenance folks 👍 The Maple Valley residential areas and roads were clean and nice too .. 👍
~0.2 mi before the junction of Dorre Don Way SE =and- SE 216th Way, there's a Road Barrier along ~500 ft of "shoulder-less" and "steep drop" of Dorre Don Way SE. As such, there' no "walkway" along that section of Dorre Don Way SE. Luckily for me - i only encountered 1x oncoming vehicle .. and the driver was kind .. drove slowly and carefully, and kept a safe distance away from me.
Encountered total 2 x 2 people on Green to Cedar Rivers Trail, and 1 on the Cedar River Trail. They were courteous and friendly. Nice view of Cedar River at (V). It was a nice sweet solitude walk.
