Headed up to check out Slide Lake for a quick hike. Illabot Creek Road is completely blocked after about 10 mi up the road from 530. There are half a dozen large trees across the road. It is another 11 mi from there to the trailhead. Scrambling over the blowdowns would be challenging, not to mention 25 mile round trip hike that would follow. Hopefully this will get cleared later in the season.

Confirmed still blocked April 13 around noon. We didn’t see the reports before boldly heading out today.
