Bearhead Mountain — Saturday, Jul. 30, 2005

Mount Rainier Area > NW - Carbon River/Mowich

Road in fine shape, go slow in a few rough spots if you have small wheels or low ground clearance. Left trailhead at 4 PM, and got to the summit at 6 PM with an over night pack. No evidence of people overnighting here. Sunset and sunrise on The Mountain magnificant. Bivoaced in the meadowy saddle just east of the summit.
