Fresh Berry Cobbler

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups fresh berries from the trail (blackberry, salmonberry, huckleberry, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cold butter

Optional: slivered almonds, chia seeds

Forage for berries on trail and place in the bottom of a deep pot.

Cover with precooked oat mixture and heat on medium-low until berries begin to burst.
