Fresh Berry Cobbler
Nothing beats fresh fruit after a long day in the wilderness—use nature's bounty to complete this dish.

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups fresh berries from the trail (blackberry, salmonberry, huckleberry, etc.)
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup cold butter
Optional: slivered almonds, chia seeds
DIRECTIONS

Forage for berries on trail and place in the bottom of a deep pot.

Cover with precooked oat mixture and heat on medium-low until berries begin to burst.
