We had to go home today but before we left we hiked the trail about 0.8 mile to where we had seen the Red Juice Tooth Fungus on 9-12 as we wanted to see the change in the fungi. The fungus in our picture in our Thursday report no longer had as many red juice areas and looked like pictures of the older stage that we saw pictured online when we searched for info on the fungi after returning home. Many people were hiking this beautiful trail today.
