Trails for everyone, forever

Time to Celebrate You!

Thank you for all you've done for trails this year. Join us for a week-long online celebration of all of WTA's volunteers!

Volunteers, thank you for all you've done for trails during an especially challenging year. You were there when the hiking community needed you most.

If you write for the hiking guide or help keep our app running smoothly, know that you helped thousands of people find hikes so they could get outside safely this year. If you write for the magazine or contribute photos, you helped us make four beautiful issues of Washington Trails that inspired and educated readers across Washington and beyond.

If you spoke up for trails, thank you! In addition to other advocacy accomplishments, you helped the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) pass, securing funding that will provide much-needed maintenance for years to come. Ambassadors, thank you for spreading the word about WTA's mission and helping us engage even more people in protecting trails, even if we haven't been able to do so in person.

And if you were able to join us in person on trail, know that we love seeing you, and your hard work is appreciated by hikers, land managers, and of course, by us!

Join us December 7 - 11 for an online celebration of everyone who has volunteered with us — trail maintenance crew members, hiking guide correspondents, trip reporters, ambassadors, magazine writers and editors, tech developers, advocates and more. If you've ever donated time to Washington Trails Association, these parties are for you. We've also put together a digital celebration kit of at-home activities.
