WTA is now hiring for several summer seasonal positions in its trail maintenance program.
District Trail Crew Leader
The District Trail Crew Leader is a full-time seasonal field-based position located on USFS Forests and National Parks in Washington. This position is responsible for leading volunteer trail maintenance work parties in the assigned district and working with Forest Service and National Park Service trail crews. Positions available on districts in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie and Olympic National Forests and Mt Rainier National Park. The position reports directly to WTA’s Field Director.

Southwest District Trail Crew Leader
The Southwest District Trail Crew Leader is a full-time seasonal position based out of Vancouver, WA with work sites located on National Forest Lands within Skamania County. This position is responsible for leading volunteer trail work parties on the assigned districts and working with Forest Service trail crews on trails in the Mount Saint Helens National Volcanic Monument, Mount Adams Ranger District and the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. In addition, this position is responsible for supporting outreach,recruitment and volunteer training activities in the region.

Logistics Coordinator
The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time seasonal position located in the Seattle area. The Logistics Coordinator will ensure that WTA’s Volunteer Vacation program is provided with necessary food and gear to support over 44 trips.
