Trip Report
Diobsud Creek — Saturday, Mar. 27, 2010

This was the annual trail upkeep trip with the Cascade chapter of the Sierra Club. This trail meanders above a a wild gorge, for maybe 1 -1 1/2 miles. There are mossy cliffs above the trail, and rain forest ferns, and moss covering boulders and trees along the way. A way trail leads down to the water for a nice lunch spot. If you keep wandering the trail gets brushy, and eventually becomes more of a bushwack than a trail. Towards the end some huge cedars line the creek.
directions to trail: past Marblemount, a couple of miles look for a small road sign: Diosbud Creek, drive past a few houses, park just before the gate, and a recent washout. walk up the road past the washout ( repaired), and find the trail heading uphill the trail does not have a sign The trail sign keeps disappearing.
