The bridge under construction near the trailhead is now COMPLETED, which makes this trail a great deal more accessible for those leery of stream crossings. There was just one other stream that presented some difficulty, but with trekking poles and careful footing it can be done without getting wet (or you can do like my hiking partner and change into sandals and wade through the icy water).
Up close view of the glacier is tremendous... I continued on the moraine perhaps farther than I should have, but made it back safely.
