Hiking Aldrich Butte

When the Bonneville Hot Springs Resort & Spa closed in 2017, the Dick Thomas trailhead on the property closed, restricting access to Aldrich Butte. But with the hotel's reopening in early 2025, the trail is also back open to the public.

Visitors can park at the hotel for the day for $10, and guests of the hotel will receive complimentary parking.

Aldrich Butte can also be accessed on a much longer route via the Pacific Crest Trail.
