The Batey-Bould trail system is a network of motorcycle/snowmobile trails in Colville National Forest. With just under 40 miles of trails, the area provides access for motorists with a variety of skill levels, but is especially fun for more advanced riders. The trail is also open to hikers who can brave the noise of the motorists and/or visit on a weekday when there aren't as many people. The trail crosses numerous creeks through a series of bridges and puncheons.

The views from this trail network aren't expansive, but the forest is beautiful with lots of cedar, larch, fir, hemlock, and more. Also be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife tracks like those of mice, birds, and maybe even a few moose. You can also visit the Uptagraph Homestead Site from trail 306. The terrain ranges from meadows to mountain peaks, so be sure to come informed so you don't end up stuck in terrain you aren't familiar with. It is also very popular to connect to the Tacoma Peak Trail or Boulder Mountain trail for more of a challenge and better views.
