This trail begins at Highway 410 and climbs to the Pacific Crest Trail, where it is possible to create a loop by hiking a mile on the PCT and turning down the Fog City trail for a total hike of 4.28 miles and 1584 feet of elevation gain.
If you prefer to simply head up and back, you'll still get quite the workout, with 1200 feet of elevation gain in just 1.5 miles.
It's short but steep, with views for days. Be warned that Fog City trail may have limited views, since, as the name implies, the trail can hold clouds and obscure vistas.
