Once you’ve accessed Blind Island, the hard work is over. This 3-acre knob of bedrock has gnarled trees, glacier-scoured granite and dry grassy hillsides. There are four official campsites available to non-motorized boaters. Social trails wind around the island to good picnic areas, campsites and the facilities.
This is a wonderful place to kick back, read a book, observe wildlife or do nothing at all.
