A very short trail rewards visitors with views of a lovely waterfall, accessible in the early season. Look for trillium along the trail in spring, and enjoy the sounds of rushing water year-round.
Just a short hike upstream from Forest Road 23 leads you to with a spectacular view of a 30-foot waterfall in the Cowlitz River Valley. From the road, the trail climbs through a mixed conifer hardwood forest, continues along a steep side slope before ending within 20 feet of the waterfall.
Please keep kids nearby when playing near the waterfall, and be sure to leave any trailside tokens for other visitors to enjoy.
