Hiking Evans Creek Trail (Redmond)

Not to be confused with the Evans Creek Preserve, the Evans Creek Trail is a short, easy walk along paved trail on its north end and elevated walkway in the southern half through historical farmland now being transformed into wetlands and forest.

Its route runs roughly north/south through the creek valley including nice views of grassy fields and lowland forest. The wildlife that inhabits the area includes ducks, eagle, heron, raven, songbirds and deer.

There are picnic facilities and full restrooms at Perrigo Park right next to the trail on the northern end. A little hidden gem in the suburbia of Redmond.
