Trails for everyone, forever

Home Go Hiking Hiking Guide Fairhaven Park and Hundred Acre Wood
WTA is a nonprofit that needs you

We're just as excited as you to get the summer hiking season started. We're psyched our website, app and work for trails help you get outside.

But we're a nonprofit that runs on donations from regular people. If everyone who visited this site this holiday weekend donated $9/month, it would fully fund our work for the next 2 years. Time spent outdoors is priceless, but every donation large or small helps us support those experiences for everyone. Thank you and happy hiking!

WTA Pro Tip: Save a copy of our directions before you leave! App-based driving directions aren't always accurate and data connections may be unreliable as you drive to the trailhead.

Getting There

From I-5, take exit 250 and head west on Old Fairhaven Parkway for 1.3 miles. Turn left onto 12th Street and at the upcoming fork (near Fairhaven Middle School), take a left onto Chuckanut Drive. The park will be on your left in 0.2 miles.

Take transit

Whatcom Transit Authority line 105 will take you right to the park — get off the bus at Chuckanut Drive at Fairhaven Park. The bus line does not stop here on Sundays.

You can also take Whatcom Transit Authority line 14 to Old Fairhaven Parkway at 14th Street. Head south on 14th Street until it veers left and becomes Wilson Avenue. There will be a trail that starts here heading south. This 0.1-mile trail leads to the north end of the park. From here, head southwest toward the tennis courts and restroom along the trail. The trail into the Hundred Acre Wood starts at the end of the road near the restrooms.
