Hiking Fairy Dell Trail

Park in the auxiliary lot on the NW corner of Battle Point Park and cross Frey Avenue. Walk a couple hundred feet east to find the trail diving off into the trees. From here follow a forested ravine to secluded tidal flats. Be sure to stay on the trail to avoid wandering onto private property.

This trail can stand alone as a great out-and-back, but it is also one end of the longer Cross Island Trail. To continue on, head south from the parking area to find the Battle Point Trail. Keep going even farther by exiting Battle Point Park at the SE corner onto the Forest to Sky Trail, which heads over toward the Grand Forest West and beyond.
