Hiking Fisher Pond Loop

On the west end of Vashon Island is a small acreage with a one mile loop trail around Fisher Pond, the largest freshwater marsh or pond on Vashon Island, which is one stem of the Shinglemill Creek headwaters.

The pond and associated wetlands are prime habitat for birds (attn: birdwatchers!) Access the area via a trail that leads off the pond’s southeast edge on SW Bank Road. The forested trail leads to a picnic area on the pond’s northwest corner.

No motorized watercraft or fishing is allowed at the site.
