Hiking Florence Peak

Start from Carbon River entrance parking lot and meander along the Boundary Trail toward Alki Crest. Upon reaching the pass on the Boundary Trail, head left on the ridge until you reach Alki Crest. Follow the ridge until you reach Florence Peak.

Climbing experience and equipment recommended or required, depending on season and snowpack.

Note that the trail from the pass on Boundary Trail to Florence Peak is not always obvious, and routefinding skills may be needed in order to find your way.

Getting There

From Enumclaw, head south on WA-165. About 10 miles in, take the slight left onto Carbon Rive Road. Continue for about 8 miles to reach the Carbon River trailhead.
