This trail links Fort Ward Park to Blakely Harbor Park via a forested corridor. These two areas are great destinations, but this trail in-between is a beautiful journey on its own.
To experience the full spectrum of nature on this southern tip of Bainbridge Island, start out on the beach in Fort Ward Park and travel on this connector trail through the forest to pop out at Blakely Harbor, another part of this island’s coastline with a unique personality.
With so many trails tied together here, you can mix and match to make the perfect hike. Parking is available at both ends of the trail, but a restroom is only available at Fort Ward Park.
