Hiking Goat Falls

This is a short, easy hike through a lush forest canyon with Goat Creek cascading gently beside you all the way. It's just half a mile to the end at Goat Falls so take your time and enjoy the natural beauty. You will want to take lots of pictures, so don't forget your camera.

After meandering through the woods, arrive at Goat Falls, dropping about ten feet on the left side of a giant boulder. From the trail, the waterfall is almost obscured by mossy boulders, but the surrounding forest is brimming with life and makes for great photos. There is also an interesting tall rock wall with trees growing high above.

Consider visiting Goat Falls during the week, as the access and trailhead parking are on a small forest road with very limited parking (4 cars, maximum).

WTA Pro Tip: Save a copy of our directions before you leave! App-based driving directions aren't always accurate and data connections may be unreliable as you drive to the trailhead.

Getting There

From Enumclaw, drive 31.6 miles to Corral Pass Road (FR 7174). Turn left onto it and drive two-thirds of a mile. Then, turn right onto FR 7176 and drive about one-fifth of a mile. Turn left at what looks like a driveway. It is signed for Tylor-Cherberg, Chez Linda and Armstrong. There is room for a just a handful of cars at the trailhead, where you will see the Goat Falls trailhead sign.
