Getting There

Find the trailhead for Hardy Canyon on the south side of the North Wenas Road. Access is from Yakima Canyon (Highway 821) or Highway I-82 if coming from south or east.

From I-82 take exit 26 and go west approximately a quarter mile to Highway 823/Harrison Road. Turn left (west) onto Harrison Road, and proceed two miles until it intersects with North Wenas Road. Take a right onto North Wenas Road, and continue past Wenas Lake.

There is also access from Umtanum Road (gravelled)coming from the north. The trailhead is four miles from the start of the pavement if you are coming from the Umtanum Road.

The trailhead is a gravel pull out alongside the road. There is a kiosk with sign near the top saying "Hardy Canyon". No facilities.
