Visitors to this small lake outside of Poulsbo will be able to walk through the forest and along the shore. This park is popular with boaters and fishers since there is a boat launch and a fishing pier, but hikers can also get their fill here.
From the main parking area along NW Island Lake Road a small network of looping and connecting trails weaves through the forest at the north end of the lake.
Another trail heads south and follows the curve of the lakeshore to a second parking area on the western shore of the lake.
Along the way you will pass play areas, picnic shelters and a community beach. Restrooms are only available at the northern parking area where there is ample parking.
