Hiking Juanita Heights Park

This small 6.1-acre park is one of Green Kirkland Partnership's restoration sites, making it a great spot for wildlife spotting and flora identification within Kirkland city limits.

Getting There

Although there are multiple access points to the park, below are the directions to the trailhead with (albeit limited) parking. 

From Seattle, head east on I-90 and take exit 10A for I-405 toward Everett. Take exit 20A and keep left at the fork to continue toward NE 116th St. Turn left onto NE 116th St. In 1.4 miles, continue straight onto Juanite Dr NE. In 2.1 miles, turn right onto NE 122nd Pl, which soon turns into NE 123rd St. Soon, take a slight right onto NE 124th St. In 0.3 mile, turn left onto 88th Pl NE, and veer onto NE 127th Pl soon after. Turn right immediately onto 89th Pl NE. The trailhead is at the end of the road.

Note there are no trailhead amenities and two parking spaces. The trailhead is in a residential neighborhood, so please be respectful of the residents in the area. The park is open year-round from dawn until dusk.
