WTA is a nonprofit that needs you

We're just as excited as you to get the summer hiking season started. We're psyched our website, app and work for trails help you get outside.

But we're a nonprofit that runs on donations from regular people. If everyone who visited this site this holiday weekend donated $9/month, it would fully fund our work for the next 2 years. Time spent outdoors is priceless, but every donation large or small helps us support those experiences for everyone. Thank you and happy hiking!

Hiking Keenan Meadows

Part of the Manastash Ridge trail system, the Keenan Meadow Trail begins at South Fork Manastash Trail and ends at the Shoestring Lake Trail.

Begin at a junction with Trail ATV 30 near Manastash Campground and turn left, heading uphill through a large clearcut to Keenan Meadows. These broad, sweeping meadows make a great spot to rest and take in the view before continuing on your way.

The trail then begins heading uphill through forest to the trails end at the junction with Shoestring Lake Trail 1385.

Extending your hike: From ATV 30, the trail also heads to the right and downhill for a short distance, crossing Manastash Creek and ending at a junction with South Fork Manastash Trail. South Fork Manastash heads up along Manastash Creek for almost two miles, where it meets Shoestring Lake Trail 1385 near its trailhead.
