Hiking Lake Washington Boulevard

On the western shores of Lake Washington and the eastern edge of Seattle is the Lake Washington Boulevard, and parallel to that is the Lake Washington Boulevard Trail. For over 3 miles, hikers and runners can follow the paved and dirt trail right along the water.

On clear days, looking north on your trek brings views of Mount Baker, and taking a break on the south side of Seward Park brings views of Rainier. But no matter the weather or time of year, you'll likely find many recreators outside enjoying this trail.

Along the way, there are plenty of benches and landmarks to stop at, including Stan Sayres Memorial Park. The route also includes multiple access points into the water, one of which is Mount Baker Beach.
