Hiking Les Hilde - Harry Osborne State Forest

The "Harry O" is popular with horseback riders for its many miles of trails to be explored. Visitors here should expect plenty of horseback riding company. It's possible to do many miles of loops, but please observe good right-of-way etiquette if you visit.

Getting There

Beginning in Sedro-Woolley, drive east on Highway 20 for 10.4 miles, then turn left on Cabin Creek Road. Proceed 0.2 miles, then turn right on Hamilton Cemetery Road. Go .4 mi. Turn left on Medford Road and go 1.1 miles to the trailhead.

Those prepared for a 1.8 mile walk can take Skagit Transit 70x to Hamilton. Get off at Pettit St. & Division St. Walk north on Pettit St. and carefully cross SR 20. Bear left as Pettit becomes Hamilton Cemetery Rd, then left onto Medford Rd. No Sunday service.
