Hiking Manzanita Trail

There are 2 miles of trails in this park that are open to hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders. It is especially popular with horseback riders. As an inland park, the trails wind through the trees and traverse slopes that are covered in a wide array of different species.

There is plenty of parking at the trailhead.

Getting There

From the Bainbridge Island ferry dock head north on WA-305 for 4.2 miles, then turn left onto NE Day Road W for about 0.5 mile, then turn right at a sign for Manzanita Park on a gravel road to get to the parking area.

Take Transit

Routes 91, 94, 333, and 390 stop at the intersection of WA-305 and NE Day Road, which is about 0.5 mile from the parking area.
