WTA is a nonprofit that needs you

We’re just as excited as you to get the summer hiking season started. We're psyched our website and work for trails help you get outside.

But we're a nonprofit run on donations from regular people. If everyone who visited this website this holiday weekend donated $9/month, it would fully fund our work for the next 2 years. Of course, time spent outdoors is priceless, but every donation large or small helps us support those experiences for everyone.

Please take 2 minutes to chip in $9.

Walk along the Puyallup River on a nature walk without spending hours in the car. This gravel trail is wide and can be a great escape from the sounds of the city, but it's also actually right in your backyard.

Starting from the western trailhead, the first 1.8 miles of the trail hug the south side of the river. The trail transitions to a mile-long sidewalk section of the trail through the streets of Puyallup. The trail then leaves the streets to continue back along the river for 1.7 miles to the eastern trailhead.
