This lollipop loop on Whidbey Island consists of a 0.6-mile one-way uphill trek to a hilly 1.2-mile loop, taking you around Strawberry Point Preserve. Most of the trail meanders through the first, with a short break in a meadow. A bounty of flora and fauna will delight hikers young and old — bring binoculars and a listening ear for songbirds, and a plant identification book for blooming vegetation.
