Sitting right up against the oceanic U.S.-Canada border on the U.S. side, the 433-acre Stuart Island Marine State Park is only accessible via boat.
There are miles of shoreline here, with 14 primitive campsites and 4 marine trail sites, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Most sites are on or near Prevost Harbor and Reid Harbor.
Composting toilets are available to use near both harbors.
